Part of a proper hotel it may be, but Vic's Bar at the Victoria Hotel is a pub in its own right. Wood panelled walls and bar mats give an old school pub feel, and unless you focus on the staff's white shirts, the hotel angle is not really apparent. The surroundings are as simple as we've seen in a while, with little decoration and generally just tables and chairs as furniture. Plus there's a pool table to seal the deal.

Vic's Bar should not be overlooked as an opportunity to get a beer at a good old fashioned pub. Your friends will be impressed how you managed to find it.

Old school pub with a winsome hotel attached so there is a bed for you if your nightcap gets out of hand.
