Partystar Review
Bright and contemporary looking venue that's brought to us courtesy of St Jerome - although this time around the milk crates have been swapped for much more arty furniture in what comes across as a very cool and modern feel.
The front room is good for all things sitting and chatty and Sideshow, another room with its own bar lies through a door. However, the band room will be of interest to most, as that's where the real action will be taking place.
Live Music Venue
Live music plays towards the end of the week the dedicated rear band room.

Second Opinion
Popular corner pub which is an institution in the area. There is a quaint beer garden and a rocking band room.

Two words people: Coopers Vintage.
That's right, this place has it on tap whenever it gets released! Fantastic news for people who take their beer drinking seriously and love full strength quality Australian beers instead of the nauseous wave of locally brewed foreign brands we seem to be getting lately. Or the horrendous low cal, low carb, low taste, white label nonsense-water popular with the fitness fanatics. But I digress.
Inside, this venue is an ultra-cool looking club type joint, but also remains sort of friendly and comfortable too - much like St Jeromes was, due to the eclectic furniture and good-natured staff. Worlds apart from the tiled walls, CUB beer range and topless shenanigans that graced this place back in the early 1990s. I highly recommend dropping in on a night out in Brunswick.
