Huge corner of a main intersection TAB pub with own carpark, plus a pool table for good measure. The drive through bottle shop is handy around these parts.

The Powell is a large Hotel on a busy intersection in Footscray. When looking at the outside of this two story, grey, classic building you notice the drive through bottle shop to the right as well as a couple of advertising signs letting you know that the venue functions as a TAB and also has mid week events such as poker and trivia.

When you walk through the main entry you find yourself in the main bar area. It's large, spacious, modern and carpeted and has many rectangular tables and chairs, as well as a pool table and a clean modern bar against the back wall. By the door are one or two couches. There are a few framed Western Bulldogs jumpers on the walls.

Through an opening to the left is a second large room that functions as a TAB and has the usually trappings of such a room (TV screens etc.)

Clientele are mainly locals.
