Partystar Review
Quite a large, chilled out pub on a quiet street, the Park Hotel caters to Abbotsford's more hip contingent who demand a slightly alternative ambience. The lighting is generally quite dim, with a large collection of tables and chairs catering for the diners, or enough sitting spots around the bar for the more social. Plenty of wine on offer hints at a slightly sophisticated clientele.
Outdoor Area / Beer Garden
The large beer garden, with its multicoloured lighting and pool table, gives off a very laid-back atmosphere. On the warmer nights expect three quarters of the pub to be out here.

In winter the open fires in the lounge and dining areas make that glass of red all the more enjoyable and in summer there is no better place to enjoy a beer than in the huge, north facing beer garden. The meals go beyond your average pub meal, with everything from steak, salt and pepper squid and kangaroo. But I can never go past the chicken parmy (currently the 4th best in Melbourne). Friday nights the place comes to life with a trendy 30-something after work crowd to start with. Never pretentious, either, which is what makes the place great. Everyone gets right into the footy replay before the DJs start, which gives the place a cruisy bar feel. Sunday arvos often get bands from 4pm.
