Primarily a quirky craft beer hall, this venue pays homage to its namesake Frederick Wimpole who was former owner of the George Hotel on this site, and also mayor of St Kilda in 1886. He was an over-achiever and he also loved his brews - great combo right?

The newest incarnation of this address features loads of craft beers on tap, New York style deli eats, a country hunting lodge vibe with neon lit American diner atmosphere, a poolroom and a jukebox. Yay for Fred! All it's missing is the apostrophe in its name, which is a happy sacrifice.
