The London Tavern is normally a quiet local, but after the football it'll be packed to the rafters, and we seriously suggest this pub goes on your post-footy shortlist. Come on a quiet night, on the other hand, and you'll find red brick walls with plenty of wood panelling, giving it a traditional homey feel.

The London Tavern has a fantastic beer garden and quickly fills up on a sunny Sunday arvo. The crowd is diverse and can range from a cool, funky 20 somethings, to the old local drinker. Local celebs who are after a quiet drink, are regulars at the bar.

During the footy season this pub is packed to the rafters, and is the place to be on Grand Final day.

The pub offers fantastic quality bar meals, but also caters for the discerning tastes with an a la carte menu in the dining room. The bar staff are friendly and not to mention ... very easy on the eye!

If you're in search of a contemporary Australian pub, but also after the friendly atmosphere associated with the traditional Richmond corner pub of yesteryear, then the London Tavern is definitely worth checking out.
