Tropical and kitsch - that's the Luwow we know and love. Luwowites who remember the previous location in Johnston Street will be a bit more compacted, as she has had to downsize somewhat to enter the CBD scene.

But that's ok Lu-lu and thankfully the kitsch decor and tiki styling game is strong as previously. Leopard print and neon add a rock vibe, and the crowd is refreshingly varied. Luwow is a welcome change from the serious cocktail bars where hipsters pour expensive creations with furrowed brows.

Luwow is very friendly and a bit ridiculous, which is why we love it.
