There is not a hint of ocean in the area, but CYC is a great component of the Lygon scene. It is one of the few dedicated cocktail bars in a sea of restaurants, and it does it well.

Mind you, Carlton Yacht Club has been on board since 2002 and is well established. It is warm and welcoming with smart, slightly nautical decor.
