There are a lot of battered suitcases scattered around Bertha Brown, but that makes sense given its proximity to the nearby backpacker hostels in the area. The feel is overall a bit raw, think beer hall meets garage sale furniture with lots of booths to feel comfortable in. The size is what really surprised us; the place overall is quite massive with a huge bar and oodles of room. It's friendly and relaxed, and makes for the best meeting spot in the area.
