Seamstress houses two very different bars on two different levels, one rather upmarket, the other way more grungy. The fun starts when you walk in to the front door, as you're presented with stairs up and stairs down, with no particular indication of which way next. Of course that simply means you're going to have to have a drink at both bars, so don't be in too much of a hurry.

The more grungy bar of the two is called SweatShop, and is a welcome addition to the city, because in our opinion Melbourne could always do with more grungy bars. It's not sticky-floors grunge, just very relaxed feel.
