Seamstress houses two very different bars on two different levels, one rather upmarket, the other way more grungy. The fun starts when you walk in to the front door, as you're presented with stairs up and stairs down, with no particular indication of which way next. Of course that simply means you're going to have to have a drink at both bars, so don't be in too much of a hurry.

The more upmarket bar of the two, Seamstress, has a good balance of service and ambiance to make it a definite candidate for drinks. It's not too large, not too small, and pretty on the mark.

This multi-level bar reminds me of a party in a terrace house. Hang out near the kitchen for some nibbles, head to the basement where the mischief is, or go upstairs for a nice cocktail. It's all good.
