Inside this heritage-listed building is a bar and function venue with lots of spaces to choose from. All of them luxurious and excellently appointed for parties with style. MC excels at after-work drinks and has a kitchen which churns out delicious bites.

Silk road might well earn the moniker for the most opulent new bar in Melbourne! Several enormous, magnificient crystal chandeliers, frescos on the ceiling, asian art deco influences. It's spread over two levels, downstairs bar and general seating; upstairs a mezzanine level with another bar, couch seating, standing bar tables and sushi chef. Food wise, think tapas and sushi. They have an extensive cocktail list and a range of good quality wines with prices that match the decor. Weeknights it mostly attracts the well suited financial/corporate crowd though there is also a bit of glamour dressing there as well. A bar to impress and wow.
