The rainbow flag out the front and blacked out windows might intrigue or repel, but everyone is welcome in this cosy pub-come-bar.

DTs' front bar area is a congenial gathering spot for a social drink and chat - but don't settle here until you've checked out the beer garden. You'll be as impressed as we were by this lush and exotic outdoor area with palm trees and foliage a 'plenty. A small smoke machine emitting from the bushes adds a mysterious air.

DT,s A wonderful friendly lovey spot where the nicest section of the Human Race get too, Bruce the wonderful Manager, is the greatest, im a country person and always get a wonderful Welcome there , hope it keeps going the way it is.

I'm MTF and just started HRT (Jan 2011) and in the middle of February I decided that I would go to DT's. I've been there twice now and what a venue. Friendly, accepting and very, very safe. I had an absolute ball there and would highly recommend it for anyone starting to step out their own front door as their real selves - the place gives you confidence as soon as you walk in. Haven't acquired your femme voice yet? - that's not even an issue!!! 10 out of 10.

DTs is like going to visit an old friends house where after you say hi you are instantly welcome.

I go there as a str8 guy with my str8 m8s.............
Why do we go to a rainbow hotel ?, ..... because u will see never find agression, drama or stress, now when I want to have a relaxing drink, after work then that what i want, there is a pool table that is exceptionaly well maintained, but its the staff led by the amazing Bruce that really make it special not to mention the astounding beer garden.

So as Molly Meldrum would say "DO UR SELF A FAVOUR and check this place out, by the way he also happens to live a few doors down..!!

Friday night is just the best nite out with the raffles, theatrics and lets not forget the BBQ dinner for $7.50

The age range is diverse as is the clientele but thats what makes it unique.

DT's is a gay pub. It's a warm friendly place where anyone can feel at home having a few beers. It's medium sized, warm and very friendly: staff & patrons. I haven't come across a gay venue in Melbourne that is so relaxed & laid back. Go here if you want to chill out and have a few bevvies with friends; straight or gay.
