As the oldest continuously licensed public hotel in Sydney, this venue is bound to have a colourful past. After all, the Rocks were not always the trendy entertainment precinct they are today. They once entertained troops of the Australian Armed Forces experiencing the ‘fortune of the war’. Okay so that spin sounds like a hoax to us, but at least we know where the name came from.

And understandably its a great piece of history and a great load of fun, food and drinks. Live music and accommodation also. now THAT's fortunate.
