Chockers with cricket memorabilia, the Cricketer's Arms Hotel goes off when the cricket and footy's on, however can be quiet and sedate on other nights. Interior is bright, art-deco style, with plenty of chrome trimmings around the bar, and features some pool tables down the back.

With such proximity to the MCG and Richmond Station, the Cricketer's Arms is remarkably well placed.

Outdoor Area / Beer Garden

A large beer garden with dedicated bar is a treat in the summer. Think music, the odd sausage sizzle and more.

Second Opinion

The beer garden is decorated with all things sports, which personally makes me recoil in disdain but there is definitely a market for it. This is Melbourne, after all. And Cricketer's Arms is a stone's throw from The MCG, so all the planets align.
