The Brandon prides itself on being a community-oriented pub and it never lets you down. It has great-priced lounge meals, a mouth-watering restaurant menu, the very popular Wednesday night trivia, and let's not forget the ever-friendly and welcoming staff. The Brandon's owners have worked hard to turn the hotel into an inviting venue all year round. The hotel offers a variety of on-tap beers, including the four seasonal Cascades, and a classy range of wines. Whether you want to catch up with friends, take your parents out for a fine-dining experience or just sit back and play Scrabble, the Brandon's for you.

The Brandon's owners have managed to meld a very good (and improving) restaurant with an undisturbed local front bar. Bar meals are amazingly good value with good portions and quality matching the restaurant. Cheap eats for locals, the quiz night (Wednesdays), a broader than normal selection of beers and wines, and a friendly feel keep the front bar full most evenings. The Brandon is very prized by its locals.

My local has something different on every night in the bar, but Sunday is the best! Cheap pints from any tap all day, and a roast in the bar or restaurant means that we all spend the day at the Brandon. No one that drinks in the bar is here to be seen, it's just cool locals. The restaurant is pretty good too.
