A bit of an institution on High Street, Wesley Anne boasts live music, food, a beer garden and outdoor area all topped off with a vibe as relaxed as the Northcote Social Club next door. We have to admit, it's all wrapped in a pretty nice interior, too. Expect things to get a tad squishy on the weekends, although the bar service generally moves pretty fast.

Outdoor Area / Beer Garden

Front and back, Wesley Anne has plenty of outdoor space for all. With a banana tree, rambling rose bushes, a brightly painted caravan and a fireplace and chimney, it's a goulash of bits and pieces to look at while you sip.

Wesley Anne has a unique atmosphere reminiscent of an old-style gothic church - but one that sells great food and drink!

With a simple menu of homestyle basics, you could fine anything from bangers and mash to herb crusted chicken fillet to a creamy pumpkin and fetta risotto. Very versatile and well suited to a variety of tastes and appetites.

The bar is fully stocked with all varieties of wines and spirits as well as plenty of beer on tap both local and imported. The decor is very dim and predominantly lit with candles and large open fire places. Perfect for that cold wintery night. There are also small booths with private dining tables and rich velvet draping if you wish to have a more intimate dinner party with six of your closest friends.

Wesley Anne features live music on various nights of the week so is a great place to kick back and be entertained. Alternatively, you could do the entertaining yourself with a generous sized adjoining room that can be booked out for private functions.

Very unusual and appealing drawing plenty of unfussy young locals in their casual gear. Well worth a look.
