A french door opening onto the pavement of a busy shopping strip, the Ivanhoe is situated well for a quick drink. An upbeat, stylish interior and a small outdoor area are part of the front Ruebar, which has music throughout as well.

Rue Bar on a friday has been around for a while and at times it can be great! Thoughout the last year there has been a new crowd within this venue that at times makes me want to leave, although its okay. It can be quite packed and upbeat and at times you cant move! There are also times where myself and 3 friends are the only ones there. But its a cool place.

For a few drinks after work, or a for a funky dance on Friday or Saturday nights, Ruebar is the place to go. With a funky bar and an engaging little dancefloor, Ruebar definitely goes off on a Friday or Saturday night. Order from a variety of original drinks from the friendly staff, hit the dancefloor, or simply relax out the back on comfy couches to catch the latest soccor or football on the screens. Ages range from 18 to 30s.

Rue Bar on Friday nights is a great little local hang out spot. For the guys make sure you get there before 9:30 or else you will be waiting in line for a loooong time or alternatively, arrive with girls.

Once inside the DJ spins out fresh house and RnB, with a small outdoor area and a large back room with couches, the crowd can range anywhere from 18 to 30, friendly staff make the experience enjoyable. The Rue Bar has bought new life to a local Friday night.
