Egads! A once cosy, warm, friendly, traditional pub (dare I say an institution in Kew...) gone the way of the personality-free cafe style pubs you see popping up around the place after an extremely insensitive and sterile renovation. Some nice food on the menu at reasonable prices. Some good beers on tap and in the fridge, but the Skinny Dog's atmosphere of a few years ago has been disinfected, sanitised and sacrificed upon the altar of blandness. The place looks like a food court. A real loss.
