Venue type: Bar, Club
With its opulent decor, Bond is as stylish as its 007 namesake, boasting deluxe armchairs, space-age curved walls and personal service. There's a powder room designed like an actor's dressing room and an exclusive front bar with fine wines and cigars to complement.
Things get busy on the weekends with a club style atmosphere. One question is left to be asked - shaken or stirred?
I went for a couple of after work drinks one friday evening and was pleasently surprised. The happy hour is aimed at corpoates, and the specials on the night were great (as were a couple of the cocktails that I tried). I ended up staying much later than intended. The laid back tunes were replaced by a DJ and, even though it became a nightclub, I didn't feel too old (which usually tends to happen). It was loud enough to have a good time, but not too loud not to be heard. It is a very cool venue, with unique curved walls.

Strange place - I'd never heard of it before and could easily have walked past it and never known it was a venue.
Before 10.30pm on Saturday night the place is very much a lounge bar with chairs and little corners filled with places to sit and chat. After 12 the place gets busy and crowded and turns very clubby. Although there is still many places to escape the crowd and get some air. The DJ pumps out the tunes and the dance floor fills up. The crowd is slighlty older than your late teen club place to pick up and very comfortable.
