Massive pub on the corner of a busy intersection that neatly carves itself into a separate public bar/sports area for the older folks and tradies, as well as a upmarket cocktail and wine bar where the wine list takes precedence over the beer taps.
Table service and classy ambiance make the bistro area an easy choice for sophisticated pub diners. The Union Hotel also offers a separate, dedicated function room.

The bar has Foxtel and shows all sport, with high stools and tables to separate itself from the dining area.
There is a very cool and lazy type fireplace room with nice mushroom/white couches, marble table and is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon with a bottle of wine.
Out the back is a large room with a retractable roof that come summer should be packed out with people enjoying the summer sun.
Also spring carnival should be good, only being up the road from Flemington race course. The TAB bar is still round the corner too, so good for people who like to have a bet.
All up, my friends and I were very impressed, its a very good pub that's very up to date, warm, cosy and easy going. The main clientele are young and business like people in groups and families coming in for dinner.
