Popular large pub that's neither grungy nor upmarket - just that spot on, in between feel. The Prince Alfred Hotel is a large square room, with a central square bar. The layout does well, maximising bar area for all. A restaurant area features, and a DJ fires the place up on the prime nights.
Our tip: Port Melbourne on the weekend? Prince Alfred for the music.
Outdoor Area / Beer Garden
Doggo friendly beer garden

Readers' Reviews
Proper old school pub where you can chill out and have a few pints during the week and then kick off your shoes and dance to 80s and 90s music on the weekend. The open plan is the best as you can't lose anyone and it's nice having old school music to dance and sing along to instead of all the doof doof junk you get in clubs and with a late 20s/30s demographic it's a lot of fun. The food isn't bad either!
