As the largest of Stamford's three function spaces, this room accommodates up to 400 guests for cocktail events or 100 for seated dinners, making it our go-to recommendation for clients planning major birthday milestones, corporate Christmas parties, and large-scale celebrations.

What sets the Wellington Room apart is its relaxed, open-plan layout combined with premium features: a spacious outdoor beer garden (perfect for Melbourne's warmer months), expansive stage and dance floor, and private bar facilities that keep service flowing smoothly even at capacity. The room's L-shaped layout prevents that "packed ballroom" feeling while maintaining an energetic party atmosphere your guests will love.

Stamford's all-inclusive cocktail packages take the pressure off event planning. Decorations, bar tabs, AV equipment, and experienced coordination are all handled.

Basic F&B package starts at $3500 which includes:

- $400 Room Hire
- $1000 bar tab
- 5 hour event duration
- Food and Beverage Staff
- Catering for 70 Guests from our STANDARD menu

A $200 bond is required for all events. This is refunded after your event as long as there is no damage to the room and there is no physical or verbal abuse towards the staff.

Underage guests are permitted until 12am, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
