About the function space

The Pineapple Hotel is one of the oldest and most well-established hotels in the city of Brisbane. Founded in 1864, the Pineapple has been family owned and operated by the Singleton family for 20 years and remains to this day, a family friendly hotel with great atmosphere and award winning dining.

Ideally located only minutes from the Brisbane CBD precinct and the world famous Gabba sports ground, The Pineapple is also close to accommodation and transport.

Our experienced team understands the importance of a well organised function that reflects your personality without you having to lift a finger. The beautifully restored venue offers enormous flexibility ensuring your event will be a resounding success.

Situated on the first floor of the hotel, the heritage listed Plantations Bar is the perfect spot for functions. The split level room has a bar on the upper level, suitably separated from the big open area below which leads to our wide sweeping verandas.

Have a drink, nibble our delicious, housemade canapes, dance the night away in the lower area and then take in the stunning nightscape and cool off outside.

Under-18 policy

Permitted, with 10pm curfew. The law requires the minor to be in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising the minor. One separate responsible adult per minor.
