Popular pub with a deceptively simple front room which quickly opens up into a large beer-hall type area with small bar and function spaces up some stairs. The bar in the larger area is highly cosy, and worth stopping by at.
The number of beers on tap here is incredible, at least 20, on the way to 30 - some well-known, some obscure in a delightful way.
