www.ragandfamish.com.au
Named after a slang term for the Army and Navy Club, the Rag and Famish has been in place since 1860 and is North Sydney's oldest trading pub.
Due to bushfires in 1890 the hotel was rebuilt, and then remodelled in 1934. It is still going strong today with its external facade largely untouched and testament to its rich history.
Rag is active in the the North Shore community, with fundraisers and other events to unite locals.
There is a bistro, restaurant, daytime espresso bar, function facilities and of course icy cold beers and other drinks to abate thirsts.
