The heritage listed Lord Alfred is one of the truly iconic pubs of the late 19th Century, and is full of character and charm.
Situated opposite the Petrie Terrace Police Barracks on the north-eastern end of the Caxton Street entertainment precinct, LA has public transport within walking distance and Suncorp Stadium just down the road. It is indeed a great place to have a party.
The Basement Bar has its own glowing, well stocked and staffed bar, and looks onto all the on-street action of the area while being tucked into a cavernous enclave. It is rustic and charming with exposed brick and timber as a backdrop for your party.
The food is made fresh onsite and the team takes pride in tailoring the ideal function to suit everyone's needs.

Immediate family is exempt from the minors' curfew
Underage policy
Underage guests are permitted until 10pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.

Seasonal surcharges
On public holidays there is a 15% surcharge. In November and December, Friday and Saturday booking will attract room hire and will require an initial deposit of $1000 prior to the event.
