About the function space

Gather Spot Party Hub is a modern private event venue located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The venue is hired exclusively, allowing guests to enjoy complete privacy while customising the layout to suit their event.

The flexible open-plan space accommodates up to 150 guests standing or 100 guests seated, and includes a large TV/display, JBL PartyBox sound system, microphone, WiFi, tables and chairs, making it perfect for presentations, trivia nights, karaoke, DJs and live entertainment. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, with a refrigerator and microwave available.

Conveniently located on La Trobe Street and close to public transport, Gather Spot offers an affordable, versatile venue with flexible layouts for everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.

2 licensed security guards are recommended for larger 18ths, and current market rates are typically around $60–$80 per guard per hour. This is organised externally.

Minimum booking period of 3 hours.

The hire charge includes a $250 cleaning fee and is based on 71-90 guests.

Other charges based on numbers are as follows:
1–30: $250 cleaning plus $260/hr
31–50: $250 cleaning plus $300/hr
51–70: $250 cleaning plus $330/hr
71–90: $250 cleaning plus $360/hr
91–110: $250 cleaning plus $400/hr
111–130: $250 cleaning plus $450/hr
131–150: $250 cleaning plus $500/hr

Charges are cheaper midweek and during the day.

BYO food and beverage surcharge of $3 per guest applies.

All rubbish, including bottles, cans and boxes, must be removed from the venue by the hirer.

Cooking is not permitted.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until close (1am), providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
