About the function space

This inn was built in 1857, and soon became a regular stopping place for the Queanbeyan-Yass mail coach. A visitor in 1878 reported that the Inn was "deserving of wide renown for its excellent beer" and described its fare as "first class".

The Inn's excellent reputation lives on, now with very modern facilities for your next function.

The Schumack Room, named in honour of the Inn's founder, is a sunny indoor/outdoor area drenched in wisteria. It also boasts indoor and outdoor seating, and established gardens.

We can tailor a menu from our extensive range of finger food platters, for you and your guests to enjoy in this beautiful location. Meanwhile the main bar is nice and close right next to the Schumack Room to keep everyone well refreshed.
