Built in 1906, Bunch of Grapes is steeped in history and continues to proudly serve today.
Functions are their specialty. The Function Room has everything you need including private bar, sound system and awesome courtyard. It is a simple, cohesive layout with the bar at one end, the courtyard at the other and loads pf party space in between. Decor is neutral and classic with touches of modernity.
Bunch can tailor a menu and deliver fresh, house made delights to you and your guests.
Affectionately called The Castle, the function room upstairs on the first floor of Irish Murphy’s has its own private bar, toilet facilities and music facilities. The layout is simple, and conducive to a streamlined party with the bar and your guests all in good proximity.
Inspired by its home near the Yarra, Concrete Boots bar pays tribute to the suburb’s less gentrified days when unfortunate local gangsters may find themselves themselves sporting concrete boots in the water. It even has bullet holes to prove it – the front door is surrounded by pistol round remnants fired by Squizzy Taylor.
The decor is far from criminal, with concrete (of course), blonde wood and glossy black tiles as your party backdrop.
Concrete focusses on craft beers, local wines, sexy cocktails and great food made inhouse. Or you can keep costs down by doing your own food on the premises.
A little-known piece of Woolloomoolloo’s seaside heritage exists in the fresh and modern Frisco Hotel.
The stylish interior pays homage to the location’s rich navy legacy with a chic fit out by award-winning interior architects Alexander & Co. Exposed brick, wall tiling, leather banquettes, solid wooden floors and quirky nautical accents set the scene.
The upstairs Cannon & Anchor Rooms boast an exclusive bar area and two breakout rooms which are handy for speeches, food serving and/or gifts and cake. One of the rooms leads onto a huge, north-facing balcony with CBD and water views. A sea breeze and all-day sun meld into fairy-lit ambience by night, creating an ideal setting for your important event.
No pub is complete without an outdoor area, and the Torrens Arms Courtyard takes it to the next level, with a superb retractable roof to make it perfect year-round. Comfy seating, amazing sound and a massive LED screen await.
There is also brilliant decor including faux grass, foliage, exposed brick and timber. A portable bar can be set up for all your beverage needs, or you are welcome to use the main bar. Food is made fresh in the onsite kitchen.
A covered and heated exclusive smoking area top it all off.
Simmering away below street level, Kyte Bar is the perfect destination for your next birthday party, engagement, corporate function or any kind of celebration.
The decor of the Main Room is modern and industrial yet warm and welcoming. Its cohesive layout consists of a bar at one end and a DJ booth at the other, with lots of party space in between. Either way, Main Room becomes a dance zone when Kyte opens to the public, so stay onboard and your after-party is sorted!
Meanwhile the smaller Canvas Room is cool and sexy, with signature lighting, exposed brick, faux grass below and foliage overhead.
The Hamilton Hotel is nestled perfectly between the Brisbane Airport and the CBD. Sitting proudly on beloved Racecourse Road and the official home to the Brisbane Racing Carnival After Parties, the venue has become a local and tourist favourite. There are two fantastic spaces to choose from, the River Room and the club-style H Lounge.
Boasting a CBD laneway position and fantastic coffee, The Little Mule is quintessentially Melbourne. It also hosts a fabulous party.
The decor is modern and industrial with polished concrete, exposed brick and signature lighting. Being cosy and intimate, Little Mule is aptly named but what it lacks in size, it packs in power. Serving up top of the range cocktails, international beers and friendly, expert service; it’s a great spot to celebrate.
There is an abundance of CBD restaurants and fast food options for catering. In addition to this there is space in the lane for a food truck vendor. Or you can rely on the venue for their basic but delicious grazings and share board selections.
