Bluestone walls, gold curtains and chandeliers give Baxter's Lot an old-style, dungeon like opulence. There are also a few enclaves on the right side of the venue if you need a bit of privacy. The cubby with the shag-pile roof is particularly intriguing if you can get it.

Our tip: If Baxter's is full or closed, Black Pearl next door boasts similar charms.

Awesome bar. went along with few mates, haven't been here for a while but new owners and cool bar staff, the other improvment is an upstairs bar.... loved the jam cockails served in jam jars, the strawberry and bourbon one rocked.... great date night place but cool to hang with your mates... GO!
