Partystar Review
Quite a large pub, with generous seating, serving the usual array of Irish bevvies - there are two main rooms, one often featuring a loud band and lots of shouting, as well as a more subdued area for a quiet pint.
The addition of the band room is actually quite a different angle to many of the central Melbourne Irish pubs, giving the whole pub quite a loud and 'happening' atmosphere during the evenings. It's quite a fun event if you like pub bands.
The staff at the Quiet Man are mostly Irish travellers and that of course heightens the experience, too. Plus the handy late bottle shop next door.
Live Music Venue
With live bands on towards the end of the week, this pub is far from quiet! Music ranges from the traditional Irish to the typical pub band. Give them a quick call if you don't want to arrive on the trivia night.

Readers' Reviews
The Quiet Man is the Irish Pub of Irish Pubs.
Always go the Guinness of course and it flows well here.
The meals are absolutely fantastic, I couldn't recommended one because I've had almost half the menu and I can't physically choose just one
However, the Irish stews inside the loaf is really unique, so always worth a shot.
The place is beautiful, amazing building.
