There are so many pubs in South Melbourne that if you are wishing to organise a pub crawl, then this is a pretty good suburb to do it in and the Limerick Hotel isn't a bad place to start - or finish. It's a dependable Irish themed pub and there's nothing too overdone here. The drinks are reasonably priced, the bar staff are chatty and the bar snacks are tasty - simple! Weekends see pumping music and plenty of impromptu dancing.

With over 150 years of history, the Limerick Arms is the true definition of a traditional local pub. Boasting a commanding presence on the corner of Clarendon and Park Streets in South Melbourne, only minutes from the CBD, Albert Park Lake, St Kilda Road and South Melbourne Beach, the venue was established in 1855 by two Irish brothers who went on to form a brewing company called Tooheys.
