Hardiman's stately dining room with white linen and wood panelling serves delicious Italian influenced modern Australian food.

For the non-diners or pre-dinner drinkers, the front bar is a great spot for a beer, and there is also a pool table and juke box.

The most comfortable, friendly and hospitable place in Melbourne. Rick and Jane (the owners) are so friendly- always ready to have a drink with their customers. Great bands- especially "Spindrift", on a Saturday night.

This pub tipifies a good local pub. With the owners socialising with its patrons on a daily basis, a warm and welcoming feel is immediately beset upon all who enter. There is regular live bands and a very entertaining trivia night to mix up the clientelle. A rustic style beer garden provides a funky alternative to the bar area and this flexibility ensures 'Hardies' is the best pub in the inner west. It's the perfect place any day of the week for a knock-off beer.
