The name of this warm, cosy wine bar refers to a quote in George Orwell's memoir. All George wants is enough money for bread and wine, which works well for us too. Oh and the venue is in Orwell Street. Nicely played, Éloise.

The wine list here is comprehensive but digestible, as are the thoughtful food offerings. If you are ravenous or carb-loading for a marathon this might not be your best bet, but for a civilised wine and food experience, Éloise is your gal.
