In the 90s it used to be Santa Fe Gold, then it was Red Ant for a while, then Portland for some time and now it's back to a traditional moniker: The Crafty Squire.

The Crafty Squire houses a micro-brewery, a restaurant (Portland Lane) and upstairs a functions venue.

The re-opening of this superbly located inner-city pub is a good thing. The interior is spacious and inviting with wooden floorboards, huge windows to watch the passers by and comfy leather seats.

It's a formal pub aimed towards after-work city drinkers and trendy Little Collins Street shoppers needing a fix.
