Visitors are welcomed by a pool table, the bar and a cosy side room for drinking and sampling the varied delights from the kitchen. Retro kitsch ornaments, mismatching furniture and quirky lampshades give the Green a good dose of character.

Out in the back room a fireplace beckons in winter, and the sizable adjacent beer garden is more popular in warmer months.

Outdoor Area / Beer Garden

Picnic tables a'plenty are sun-soaked by day and dotted quaintly by coloured lights at night. There is also a pond and citrus tree to make this large garden a real urban treat.

This place is great, beer garden is fantastic, but NO eftpos, credit facilities, tabs or ATM make for a quite annoying get together, especially because the nearest ATM is miles away! I'd recommend the Retreat's beer garden across the road for similar atmosphere and easy-as-can-be credit card love!!!!

the brunswick green has come a long way since the days of old. paul & david have done an unbelievable job building new areas and reinvigorating old ones, with the paved courtyard and stage out the back a big hit. the beer and wine selection is excellent and the food is delicious. with summer just around the corner i can't think of anything better than a saturday afternoon in the courtyard, with some of rolfey's sausage rolls on the way, a great band playing, a few beers & my friends. see you there!

I bet most people just walk by 313 sydney road with out even knowing what a cool space the brunswick green is!

The back garden of the green is the most fantastic garden space in melbourne, David and Paul are welcoming and all the staff are fantastic! The food from Rolf'ys kitchen is simple and sensational.
Pay a visit to the green you will love it ....
