About the Venue

Turf is the site of the 'The Great Bookie Robbery' back in 1976 and is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Its Victorian style fit-out and warm feel make it a comfortable and relaxed venue for a private party or corporate function.

The restaurant area can accommodate 80 people for a sit-down function and 150 stand-up. It can be fully cordoned off for exclusive hire and is elevated and surrounded by a fence to maintain your privacy. Featuring sports memorabilia on the walls, the area is available for both stand-up cocktail drinks as well as sit-down dinners, and tables can be set up or removed as desired. The open kitchen adds character for sit-down functions.
