Breathing new life into the bustling Potts Point and Kings Cross scenes and centrally located to the CBD, this fabulous venue is the perfect spot for your next event.

The Village's upstairs area exudes casual luxury, with bare floorboards, textured feature walls and exposed brick adding a rustic touch to a stylish function space.

Within that sits the Soho Room, an exclusive room separate from the rest of the upstairs area with a handy slice of the bar roped off just a few steps down.

At The Village, we pride ourselves on our ability to tailor functions to suit your specific needs, making it an event to remember.

And remember, your function room turns into a club later and you can kick on with your entourage and party into the wee hours!

From 10pm Fri & Sat until close - Inhouse DJs play popular house/dance music for you to party on to. Upstairs is a happening club from 10pm (and Soho from 11pm) and you are right in the thick of it!

It may be possible to play your own tunes from 10pm-11pm, as long as your tunes are suitable for the rest of the venue.

The bar and bistro downstairs play the same music as upstairs, but at a quieter volume.

Functions can start during the day.

Feel free to kick on free of charge when the Soho Room opens to the public as a nightclub at 11pm and your roping is removed. Late arrivals to your function also get in free to the club night, saving the $10 cover charge.

You can also wander downstairs for a more relaxed vibe in the Village's main bar, and bistro.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 10pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
