3, 29 Fitzroy Street , St Kilda
29th apartment is a bar, art gallery and a lounge room all at once. Designed to evoke a 60's New York studio apartment, it's got wall to wall decal stickers, bookcases filled with vinyl records, posters and a retro TV playing classics like Breakfast at Tiffanys. This and the other domestic furniture dotted around (a bed, bath and sink) give 29th Apartment a lived in feel.
DJs keep you entertained from their decks in the bathtub and there is a foosball table and Giant Jenga amongst other games. In the middle of the lounge room you'll find a clothes swap where you can change clothes between drinks and leave something behind.
Featuring an extensive cocktail list, the bartenders can whip up a concoction to suit your individual tastes. 29th apartment has gourmet pizzas available until 3am every night. Try the house specialty smoked chicken, camembert and blueberry to tantalise your tasteuds!
The bedroom area is perfect for groups of 30-50. For something different, this area has a bed, a bathtub, pinball and a foosball table. Great for birthdays, hens nights or Christmas celebrations. Can provide a projector upon request.
